Who We Are
Vamos Impact is a Minnesota-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by immigrants and entrepreneurs who know firsthand the barriers faced by underserved communities. We exist to transform lives by connecting immigrant, Latino, and underrepresented entrepreneurs to the training, tools, and opportunities they need to thrive.
We are lean, bilingual, and community-rooted. Our work bridges economic empowerment, education access, and international collaboration — with a focus on actionable, measurable results.

Why It Matters
In Minnesota and beyond, Latino and immigrant communities are full of ideas, talents, and dreams—but too often face systemic gaps in access to capital, training, mentorship, and visibility. Vamos Impact fills this gap with no-cost programs tailored to our community’s real-life needs.

What We Do
Through our programs, we:
Train early-stage entrepreneurs in English and Spanish
Provide 1:1 business and marketing support
Award scholarships to Latino students
Offer fair trade technical assistance to rural artisans in Peru
Each program is designed to drive tangible change and build long-term impact.
Leadership & Founders
Vamos Impact was founded by Juan Llerena, a Peruvian immigrant, entrepreneur, and community advocate, and is powered by a diverse team of collaborators, volunteers, and creative professionals from both the U.S. and Latin America.
We’re guided by lived experience, professional expertise, and deep commitment to social equity.
