Are donations to Vamos Impact tax-deductible?
Yes. Vamos Impact is an officially registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization (EIN: 39-3851393). All charitable gifts, recurring donations, and event sponsorships are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by federal and state law. You will receive an official tax receipt immediately upon completing your donation.
How are donation funds utilized?
Every dollar donated directly funds tangible community outcomes. 100% of community contributions go toward our Vamos! Scholarship Fund for Latino high school graduates, free bilingual business coaching cohorts (NEGOCIOS – De la Idea a la Acción), and fair trade market access for indigenous artisans. We operate with minimal overhead to maximize program dollars.
What donation methods are accepted?
We accept secure digital donations online via Zeffy (credit cards, debit cards, and bank ACH transfers), which ensures 100% of your contribution reaches our programs. We also welcome checks mailed directly to: Vamos Impact, 840 Sparrow Road, Waconia, MN 55387 (Memo: Donations).
Can I avoid platform processing fees when donating online?
When donating through our secure online Zeffy platform, 100% of your donation comes directly to Vamos Impact with zero processing fees deducted. Zeffy asks for a voluntary contribution to cover platform costs; you can easily skip or adjust this contribution by selecting ‘Other’ in the fee dropdown and entering $0.
Does my employer match donations to Vamos Impact?
Yes! Many corporate employers match charitable contributions dollar-for-dollar. When making your donation, check with your human resources department for corporate matching instructions, or email us at info@vamosimpact.org to submit your company matching forms.
