Vamos Impact celebrates a new milestone as Executive Director Juan Llerena joins the 2026 Emerging Leaders in Community Development (ELCD) program. Discover how this prestigious mentorship with MCCD will strengthen our mission to drive sustainable growth and resilience in the communities we serve.

“Our partnership with the District 112 Foundation has been a masterclass in community collaboration,” says Juan Llerena, Executive Director of Vamos Impact. “On behalf of our founders, partners, and the students whose lives have been changed by these scholarships, I want to thank the Foundation’s Board of Directors and their dedicated volunteers. They didn’t just manage funds; they believed in the potential of our youth.”

Vamos Impact is proud to announce the successful conclusion of our 2026 Peru Mission Trip, a journey dedicated to empowering diverse entrepreneurs and through education and sustainable partnerships. Following the philosophy of “teaching people how to fish,” Executive Director Juan Llerena led transformative workshops and provided vital technical assistance across Lima, and Chincha to foster long-term independence.
